Health & Safety

The construction industry is recognised as a potentially dangerous business to be in. That's why we at ESK take every precaution to ensure the safety of our clients, their premises and our teams of decorating professionals, who we consider to be our greatest assets. We operate an in-house health and safety policy, produced and managed on our behalf by M3 Associates, a team of qualified safety experts who have had years of experience of practical safety work within the construction industry. With their guidance and provision of sensible solutions to everyday safety issues, we are able to get on with our business, safe in the knowledge that we have a team of experts looking after our needs.

Our own management team have all completed the Health and Safety Supervisors Training, and undergo Awareness Training via the Safe-Tec Training Service, in order to update their knowledge of legislative changes and safety issues on a regular basis. We are also regularly assessed under the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

The majority of our decorators are licensed by the International Powered Access Federation and certified in mobile tower erecting, as well as being qualified under the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS). We also ensure that key members of staff are trained in first aid and are Construction Industry Training Board approved 'appointed persons' for first aid.

Insurance

We understand the importance of being properly insured when our decorators are on clients' premises and, because of this, we have £5 million public liability insurance and £10 million employee insurance.
