This new build contract was ESK's most prestigious contract to date!

The contract was executed in conjunction with a major developer and time constraints were only one of the many issues that had to be faced.

Choice of products and their suitability to be used in a sterile environment were major concerns for both the customer and client. With the awareness in the media of hospital borne infections such as MRSA, it was of utmost importance to select the right products for the purpose. This was achieved with the help of Brewers Protective Coatings who presented specifications to the client and customer suitable for this contract.

In areas where hygiene was of extreme importance Rust-Oleum maths Aqua Matt was used and in areas of high wear for example the Morgue and shower areas, twin pack was applied allowing for the daily washing down process to be carried out easily and effectively.

In communal areas Dulux Diamond Matt was used providing high durability and ease of cleaning to these busy areas.

Over 70 ESK staff worked on this project over the Christmas period with the main works completed between November and the completion date of 17th January in order to meet the revised programmes.
