ESK were appointed as contractors to redecorate walls to this property that had problems with the rendering.
Following discussions with our specifier we decided to use an elastomeric coating. This product is 400% elastic with waterproof qualities. It is an excellent product for the resistance against ageing and the elements and the bridging of minor cracks which was the main priority.

The windows and rainwater goods were covered and masked for protection before the commencement of works. Preparation to the walls consisted of jet washing and brushing down the walls. The cracks were not raked out, as this would leave lines on the finished surface.

The elastomeric coating was then applied, followed by a satin top coat.

The finished substrate showed no signs of any cracks and the customer was very satisfied with the end result.
