Our Team

At ESK, we are proud of the fact that many of our fifty-strong team have been with us from the start. We believe in treating our people with the same level of respect that we treat our clients. We recognise the fact that our people are our most valuable resource, placing great emphasis on ongoing training and development of skills, certification, and also on work satisfaction and reward.

All our team members have many years of experience in the decorating industry, across a diverse range of projects and clients.

Over 70% of our decorators are already qualified under the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS), with the rest working steadily towards it. The majority are also licensed by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and certified in mobile tower erection.

We provide our junior decorators with on-site training in order to help them acquire the skills they need and all are sponsored on a two-year NVQ Painting and Decorating apprenticeship at Bedford College.

All our managers and working foremen have CSCS registration for site supervision. In addition, key members of staff undertake regular first aid training, resulting in them being approved as 'appointed persons for first aid' by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).

In addition to these standards of training, certification and industry achievement, many of our employees have also been granted full security clearance for working on government contracts, in prisons, and for the Ministry of Defence, etc.
