A fresh coat of paint has brightened up more than 90 consultation rooms and 7 waiting areas, improving the experience of patients visiting the Outpatient Department at Milton Keynes Hospital.

The extensive repair, painting and redecoration of the outpatient’s clinical areas has included repainting 93 consulting rooms and offices, 7 reception and waiting areas, 12 corridors, 2 stairwells, 6 cupboard spaces and 11 toilets.

All clinics remained open while the work was carried out, so patients could continue to receive clinical advice and treatment.

Outpatient Healthcare Assistant Sara Stone said, ” They’ve done a brilliant job. It’s made a much nicer working environment for staff and a more pleasant place for patients to visit”
